When to use which
Going big (e.g., holiday launch, packaging redesign, brand refresh)?
→ Head to Studio for that high-end, storytelling treatment.
Updating SKUs, filling e-commerce gaps, or launching multiple SKUs fast?
→ Choose Lite for quick, affordable, and consistent images without any fuss.
Foil, embossing, a textured label, a neck label, a custom capsule color, or a bottle shape not in the Lite library?
→ Head to Studio. Lite maps a flat image onto the bottle and cannot show dimensional finishes.
Comparing the results
The key distinction between Outshinery Lite and Studio lies in the level of customization and detail they offer. Lite does not include advanced features like custom capsule designs or label embossing, which are available with Studio.
For example, if you need a color or effect not found on the Colors page, that’s where Studio comes in.
Studio holds a library of more than 1,100 bottle models and builds any shape that is not in it, across wine, beer, spirits, ready-to-drink cocktails and seltzers, cider, cannabis and wellness, and any other packaged product, in bottles, cans, bag-in-box, and custom containers. Lite covers wine and cider bottles in 375 ml, 750 ml, and 1.5 L magnum, plus 10 beer shapes from 330 ml to 750 ml, in more than 15,000,000 configurations. Any bottled beverage in one of those bottles with a flat-printed label works in Lite, from kombucha and hard tea to botanical drinks and mixers.
Three things always go to Studio, whatever the bottle: spirits, sake, and cannabis. And anything in a can.
